If the Law had been a human work then we would have expected to see among the rituals designed by human imagination at least some things that would be dangerous as far as modern medicine is concerned…

Health regulations in the Bible are based on knowledge far in advance of scientific discoveries of the times. One has only to read through the Law of Moses in the Old Testament (Exodus to Deuteronomy) to discover that at the very beginning, the Creator of our world understood what was best for humans to avoid disease and illness. The extensive use of water to cleanse, the avoidance of close contact with those who had sicknesses, isolation of the diseased, the regulations against eating “unclean” animals prone to parasites, and so much more, was not even properly understood by doctors in the 1800’s, yet the Law of Moses had it right thousands of years ago!

In “Disease and the Law of Moses”, Dr. Stephen Palmer says:

“In the UK today… about one in nine patients admitted to hospital develops an infection… Much of this is the direct result of the failure of staff to wash their hands after handling infected people or materials…How is it possible, then, that the Law of Moses should have such a clear insight into the aspect of preventive medicine?…”

ACCURATE ARCHAEOLOGICAL RECORDS

Archaeology has proven the historical authenticity of many ancient Bible sites and characters. In the past, some of these civilizations and characters were dismissed as myths by the academic world, but new discoveries have silenced the critics. Over 25,000 sites have been discovered by archaeology pertaining to the Bible, as well as the records of tens of thousands of individuals and events.

Many archaeologists have been convinced by their own findings that the Bible is an astonishing book – some even to the point of becoming Christians. Sir William Ramsay, for example, was a wealthy atheistic English archaeologist who was determined to disprove the Bible. He spent many decades digging and published book after book, detailing his findings which all confirm the Word of God. Sir William finally declared that the Bible is accurate and is the Word of God as a result of his findings!

A CONSISTENT MESSAGE FROM GENESIS TO REVELATION

The Bible was written over a period of about 1500 years, with 40 different messengers receiving God’s word and carefully recording it.

The symbols, the Gospel plan of salvation, the central theme of a coming Messiah with all the types and Laws that pointed forward to him are consistent from beginning to end. Such consistency would be very difficult, if not impossible for humans to get right over such a long period of time and with no opportunity for communication between them.
